Mars and Venus are always creating and separating in relation to each other’s terrains. Mars and Pluto aspects escalate, intensify, and bring a militant focus the topics of Aries and Scorpio in our charts. Venus and Pluto clarify the nature of the available help while at the same time putting Venus house topics in the way of the power dynamics of Pluto. They bring their own focus and intensity to all of our Libra and Taurus places.
We’ve been looking for storylines that have been brewing since 2018. They would have escalated in March of 2022. While the topics and subjects will vary from rising sign to rising sign, the archetypal shape of Mars-Venus-Pluto is likely to come with elevated passions in the life topics it touches. These often move us in ways that stir up topics we’ve had to develop resilience around, things like grief or inappropriate uses of power. Pluto can often bring a hard won, appreciable clarity.

Feb 16 2022, Mars conjoins Venus at 16° of Capricorn while the Full Moon in Leo sends a direct push to Pluto. A need for action was planted.
March 03 2022, Mars Venus and Pluto are all in the same 27° of Capricorn. This begins a story of an escalation that requires attention.
March 06 2022, Venus catches up to Mars and perfects their conjunction in the very last minute of 29° Capricorn.
March 06 2022, Venus and Mars stay in perfect conjunction as they step into the cementing fixity of the very first minute of 00° Aquarius. Venus speeds ahead from here to perform relationship alchemy ahead of Mars, changing the shape of the things in preparation for what’s to come.
The Opening Escalations:
May 27 2022, Venus squares Pluto at 28° of Aries.
Venus-Pluto Outcome, the extent of what our March of 2022 intentions could accomplish:
August 9 2022 Venus opposes Pluto at 26° of Cancer.
Martial Opening:
August 14 2022, Mars makes a rather explosive opening square to Pluto.
Venus-Pluto Closing Events:
Oct 20 2022, Venus squares Pluto at 26° Libra, breaking down her relational assumptions. Meanwhile, Mars had reached the degree where it would station retrograde in Gemini, scattering and intensifying efforts.
Venusian Ending and Reset:
Jan 01 2023, Venus completes her loop way before Mars. Venus conjoins Pluto at 27° of Capricorn and embarks on a new kind of intensity about the same sort of project but it feels different now, carrying a promise to be transmuted into something else entirely.
Venusian Opening:
March 16 2023, Venus squares Pluto at 29° Aries. We see the shape of the current discomfort with bravery, intensity, and overwhelm.

Feb 14 2024 Mars conjoins Pluto at 00° Aquarius
Feb 16 2024 Venus conjoins Pluto at 00° Aquarius
Feb 22 2024 Venus conjoins Mars at 06° of Aquarius. The cycle ends and resets and they get to work on crafting a consistent, though unconventional path towards a shape they can agree on. Aquarius asks for abstract structures that can hold what began in Capricorn in March of 2023. In relationship, that looks like forming appropriate containers for passion that are built with awareness. This reset differs by topic for each rising sign.
