I’ll share a crucial technique that I consistently use to support parents with astrology: houses from houses. This lets you locate your child’s default places within the structure of your life. This alone can help us map better paths towards consistent supportive caregiving. But we’ll go deeper! We’ll learn to talk about our charts through a dependents’ point of view astrologically and center our children’s primary needs, all without violating their consent.

Are you recreating your own childhood struggles in your role as a caregiver? What do you have control over? What don’t you? Is it possible to see ourselves how our children see us and adjust accordingly? What do our planet clusters and aspects mean from the perspective of our dependents?
We’ll move through our 12 Whole Sign Houses centering the children we care most about. We’ll spend a lot of time with the implications of houses from houses, also called “derived houses”, and learn where to find many specific child related topics in your chart.
None of us are perfect! We’ll marvel at the ways we’re each best equipped to be supportive and locate where it can be appropriate for us to seek support and skill building.
These techniques are astounding, practical, and easy to add to anything you already know about houses. The slides can be used as a workbook that’s easy to return to again and again.
Since 2016 I’ve sat with hundreds of supportive caregivers, both in my role as a Family Advocate and as a professional astrologer. This workshop is aligned with the non judgmental empowerment models of advocacy.
We will build active strategies to take home, treasure, and apply. We will learn the storylines contained in each rising sign with helpful guidelines for staying centered in our appropriate and good enough roles as adult caregivers to children.
Participants are encouraged to volunteer their birth charts to work with live, but that is absolutely not required. We’ll apply these straightforward techniques to our most common parenting concerns and take time in break out groups to practice and connect.
This workshop is for anyone who has access to their timed birth chart and finds themselves interested in parenting.
As with all workshops in the Consideration Before Judgment membership space, you are never obligated to be on camera and break out groups are always optional.
Use your love for astrology to feel less alarmed, more prepared, and more secure in your actions as a caregiver.
