The planet Venus spends 40 days & 40 nights in her retrograde phase. But I’m a big fan of having time to negotiate with fate before the events themselves, and to also prepare for some decent aftercare when it’s over. And yes, Venus retrogrades can be that intense.
I am taking a group of clients and students to follow along with Venus through her descent to the underworld.
We will explore how that journey changes US in real time.

For Venus, her underworld is the very real space between the Earth and the Sun where she is invisible to us. September – December is about to become a deep stitch in the fabric of our ability to relate to one another. Whether this is a necessary suture for a deep relational wound, or just a spot of embroidered embellishment is a matter of fate and birth charts.
We will map our own lives onto the astrology of September – December 2026. This workshop is for anyone ready to examine their relationships, desires, creative life, and ways of connecting more honestly through the clarifying guidance of astrology.
Everybody has four 20min check-ins with me to use throughout the program. You may combine them for a full length personalized reading or use them for single questions as things come up.
There will also be open Office Hours where I will help participants apply the workshop themes to their own charts in real time.

We will be using Hylo for our (less surveilled) astrology discussion board to keep in touch throughout the program. I often have thoughts I’d love to post about the current astrology and things to keep in mind, but like so many of you I was looking for a cozier non-billionaire-affiliated place to share.
The dirt and mud and structural realities of the world we live in are undeniable. I am providing a place to stop straddling the contradictions between hope and constraint and start walking the path where both worlds meet.
This program is a container for those who understand that the world is a magical place and also long to be more in touch with that reality.
The cobwebs of old patterns live here. We each have different paths and we all need support to walk them. The astrology will describe the location of these changes in our lives and the roles we find ourselves in. Together, we’ll place well-lit markers as we hop bravely from stone to stone through the relational muck of the sign of Scorpio.
All participants will have the option to share their birth data with me at intake. This means that I will consider the impacts to you in particular, not only during our one one one check-ins, but also during our live (recorded) group forecast and integration sessions.
We can meet this catalyzing moment in history without losing sight of what’s most important in our individual personal worlds.
The experience includes a limited number of participants and one-on-one time with me, making it possible to engage with this material at a highly personalized level. Whether you are new to astrology or already an experienced practitioner, there is a place for you.
For some this will be a Venus retrograde full of inner work.
For others it will be a time of solving problems that are seemingly practical and external in nature.
But the throughline with Venus is always relational.

This is the third time that I am offering this program. There are five different kinds of Venus retrogrades. Each one of these Venusian projects meets us at a particular time in our lives and this Venus retrograde in Scorpio is no exception. I have hosted these groups through the Venus retrograde in Leo of August 2023 and through the Venus retrograde in Aries in March of 2025. The success of those programs made it clear that this is some of the most important work that I will ever do.
The backdrop of today’s skies offer their own unique imperatives.

Your seemingly unrelated life events are a coherent timeline in the eyes of Venus… even if they’re hard to see from the inside.
Each phase of this program contains 4-6 optional live spaces including: our primary Full Group Venus Session, 80 Nights Office Hours, Astro Student Corner, featured Rising Sign Groups, and various special events. These events include some discussion panels and talks from my astrology colleagues, mundane event discussion and forecast spaces, invites to attend some of my in person circles virtually, and anything else that comes up. We will build our understanding of Venus in your birth chart piece by piece, week by week.
The themes of each unit will match the phase of Venus in real time.
Phase 1: Venus in Shadow (Aug 31 – Sept 10)
What are we walking into? We will meet the planet Venus, build our own tracker for her journey, and start to map our own internal and external ecosystems.
Phase 2: Venus into Scorpio (Sept 10 – Sept 22)
What deep lessons around trust are we likely to encounter? We are still in the shadow of the retrograde, doing a trial speed run of themes we will come back to throughout the next two months.
Phase 3: Maximum Brightness as an Evening Star (Sept 22 – Oct 3)
What has come to fruition out of the changes brought to us since 2025? Venus brings visibility to current desires and slows us all down. There is room to put the relational skills we’re learning into immediate practice in life.
Phase 4: Venus Stations Retrograde (Oct 3 – Oct 19)
It’s time to embark on that deep inward journey. Just as the myth of Inanna describes, Venus “turns her mind to the great below” and begins dropping the solar protections that her visible status previously gave her. We leverage the privileges we have as lovingly as possible. Our effort to observe and be mindful of this descent ahead of time means that no matter how much we do or don’t show up to live sessions in this time, we are as ready as we can be with peer supports and deep reflections going in.
Phase 5: Venus Sets (Oct 19 – Oct 24)

What must be maintained while these subterranean processes get to work? We apply the helpful insights gained by tracking our own lives from the start of the Venus retrograde shadow.
Venus Meets the Sun in the Underworld (Oct 24). Still hidden, she takes a beat and re-enters the sign of Libra. This is where the stitch needs a knot and will begin to bring us into a new set of stories. The seed is planted for Venus’s rebirth and though there may be pain there, we gain valuable insight on how to tend to it.
Phase 6: Venus Rises (Oct 29 – Nov 14)
Venus steps into visibility ahead of the rising Sun, and she is ready to pick up her version of a sword. Our high standards re-emerge. We begin to address and reframe the strengths and weaknesses that this process may have brought attention to.
Phase 7: Venus Stations Direct (Nov 14 – Nov 27)
As Venus heads back out into space, we celebrate that we know the steps that lead up and out. What are we leaving behind in the underworld and what are we taking with us into this altered future?
Phase 8: Maximum Brightness as a Morning Star (Nov 27 – Dec 17)
As we make our way alongside Venus’s ascending light, we refer back to where we began in August. On Dec 4th Venus re-enters the sign of Scorpio. She is ready to address the things that felt like stumbling blocks before. We will open the container while staying connected and continue to share reflections as we all make our way out of Venus’s shadow. This is where we walk our talk in the bright light of day.

80 Nights with Venus is a program that is nestled within my Consideration Before Judgement membership. CBJ is a rich community of astrology enthusiasts, students, and practitioners with typically 20-60 people coming and going at any given time.
Many astrologers lament that beginners don’t have a way to access the benefit of advanced astrology in their daily lives. This changes that.
General horoscopes are always hit or miss. Even when you find a skilled astrologer doing general forecasts, the specifics of your birth chart absolutely modifies those predications.

Venus Group
Every 10 -15 days Venus has a phase shift, and so will we! Venus is relational. The project she’s working on throughout the end of 2026 does absolutely push the edge of our comfort zones. This space is meant to honor and clarify our priorities as we engage the deep work between ourselves and the other people in our lives.
This is where we tie ourselves to the real astronomical phase of the planet Venus and learn to trust the process. If you are a beginner, this space will not overwhelm you with technical details. Instead we will take one key concept that will be present for the current step of the Venus journey. We will do a mini workshop to really ground and deepen our awareness of the most important real life work that we’re each already doing during that phase. I will pull in relevant myths and symbols to teach something about the Venus in your birth chart and what that means about this moment.
If you are a big astrology nerd but need some practice with synodic cycles and how to apply them to birth charts and transits, this will give you the prompts you need to deepen your work and understanding of the human experiences that align with these different phases.
How much astrology will we be doing? Plenty! How much do you already need to know? Barely anything! While the larger membership space is a treasure trove for folks committed to learning astrology for themselves, no astrology background is required to engage this particular Living Workshop.
All you need is an interest in your own personal narrative and a sneaking suspicion that there are indeed relational puzzles afoot from September to December. Ideally you will also have some curiosity about astrology and the wider cycles of time.

With Rising Sign groups the focus is all about supporting the participants who have those rising signs. Everyone in the program is welcome and encouraged to attend any of these groups though! It has been lovely in the past to see the support for one another come through in the chat and to see these lessons resonate for the people in your lives who have these signs. The Rising Sign groups are also a great way to learn first hand how to interpret the technicalities of planetary movements in relationally productive ways.
Storylines, Threads & Cycles
Mundane astrology is a special interest of mine. Some of us are invested and soothed by giving our attention to the events in our communities and in the world at large. This is the place for that.
